Yes, I do know the celebration will be happening. I will stop by the group site soon and offer suggestions. I do recall reading about a suggestion that a York boat be built. I'd love to participate in the building but I live too far from Ft. Carlton to be of any use. I can indeed serve to talk about the river trip as I experienced it and talk about how the river was during the fur trade era. I have read extensively about it in order to prepare myself for writing about my journey along the river. I will also be writing about JPP in my book. I will get back to you on this soon. I think you belong to the facebook group the decendants of John Peter Pruden, anyway; your voyage would be a valuable asset to describe the voyage that JPP undertook. Could you place something in the Discussion group for ideas about this.
